The New Artist Showcase

The Singers & Musicians Conference (SMC) Showcase is a great opportunity for unsigned artists to gain exposure and receive feedback from a panel of industry experts. Please note that registration for this year’s conference is required and should be sent with your SMC Showcase Submission. The submission deadline is August 29, 2008.  All eligible submissions will be reviewed and the top entries will be selected to participate in this year’s showcase. All artists will be notified in writing and by email or phone if you have been selected to participate by September 4, 2008.

All submitted materials shall be considered property of Lifeline Productions, Inc. and will not be returned. Entrants’ materials will be evaluated on various characteristics, including, but not limited to: expression, cohesiveness, tone, pitch, blend, song selection and presentation of submission. The same characteristics will be evaluated by a panel of industry experts during the showcase and will determine the recipients of the Best Artist awards. Original material should be copyrighted for your own protection. Eligible submissions consist of the following items:

• Completed Singers & Musicians Conference Registraion form and Registration Fee
• 1-2 Songs/Performances-Vocalists on CD/Dancers on DVD labeled with name of artist
• Biography-mail printed copy. Selected submission will need to email electronic copy at later date
• Picture - 5x7 or larger
• Completed New Artist Showcase Registration form and appropriate fee
